Meet Leonora. A banjo built from paper and story—pages of The Grapes of Wrath, a vintage Grand Ole Opry songbook, weathered magazines, and even an aluminum can. I hand-stitched the fabric edge to give the shoulder strap a soft finish, and added hardware details to complete the piece.
She sits on a 20”x40” wood panel layered with old country songbooks and a musical dictionary—an ode to roots, resilience, and rhythm.
