The L&N 152 is a nostalgic nod to the classic trains of our time and culture. The Louisville & Nashville 152 (L&N 152) is a preserved 1905 steam locomotive, a 4-6-2 “Pacific” type built by Rogers Locomotive Works. It’s celebrated as one of the finest surviving examples of early 20th-century passenger engines, known for pulling L&N’s premier passenger trains across the Southeast. This paper train is created from a variety of ink washed blueprints, placed on washed old tickets stubs, vintage maps, Antique shares certificates and receipts.
The artwork is 8.5 ×19” floated over beige linen and placed in a 13”x24” black frame.
